The Ring of Honor was created in 2018 to celebrate those families or individuals who have contributed and been instrumental in creating a viable model boating community within New Mexico/Texas boundaries.

These honorees have given of themselves selflessly to help grow the hobby into what it is today.  

Each person contributed in ways that include teaching, designing, and manufacturing competitive racing hulls. Others manufactured hardware, and some helped spearhead new clubs within District 7. Others gave nothing more valuable than their time and gentle support over the years, but all gave with the common theme of building a robust, healthy boat racing community.   

The first group to be inducted was honored during the 2018 Lonestar Nationals award banquet hosted by the Dallas RC Thunderboat Club.
